We are on the lookout for a full-time Salesforce Product Manager to lead our Salesforce Platform team and steer our Salesforce org.
Our ideal Salesforce Product Manager will be a Salesforce enthusiast and share our passion for technology and sustainable tourism. We are seeking a detail-oriented technologist who is ready for a challenge and will take our Salesforce platform to another level. As our Salesforce Product Manager, you will be responsible for our Salesforce Platform team and will articulate the vision for our platform in a product road-map that you will maintain. As a Salesforce Product Manager, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Drive the execution of all product life-cycle processes, including product research, market research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, road-map development, requirements development, testing plan and product releases
- Develop a deep understanding of the user/customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that improve user/customer experience and drive growth
- Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
- Create and maintain the product road-map aligning product priorities with the business strategic priorities
- Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, test cases, and ROI
- Scope and prioritise activities based on business and user/customer impact
- Collaborate closely with development, PMO, support, marketing, and sales teams on the development, QA, and release of product features and resource allocation to ensure success for the entire business
- Assess market competition by comparing the company’s product to competitors’ products
- Keep up to date with all new Salesforce & Kaptio features by attending educational workshops; reviewing release notes; establishing personal networks; participating in Salesforce trailblazer community groups
- Maintain Salesforce Platform team by recruiting, selecting, coaching, training, mentoring and appraising job results of team members
Requirements
Our ideal Salesforce Product Manager will possess:
- MS/BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Business or or equivalent preferred
- 4-6 years of experience in Technology
- Proven work experience in product management or as an associate product manager in Technology
- Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful technology product throughout its lifecycle
- Solid technical background with understanding and hands-on Salesforce experience (must-have)
- Strong problem solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done
Knowledge of the following will be advantageous:
- Software development and web technologies
- Excellent Excel and Google Sheets ability and overall computer literacy
- Problem-solving and diagnostic acumen, strong analytical mind-set
- FIT/ tailor-made travel industry
- Agile and lean methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
