We’re looking for an experienced and dynamic Junior Digital Designer to join our thriving tour operator business.
This role is at the forefront of shaping our travel offerings through creating, managing and producing visual digital content for Rhino Africa and its associated brands. Your skills and experience will directly impact our competitiveness, profitability, and the overall quality of the travel experiences we provide..
Your multifaceted expertise in Design, Brand Representation, Content & Creation Management and Concept Generation & Creative Development, ensures a holistic approach to manage top client experience and drive business success. Your contributions across these key performance areas will be vital in achieving our organisational goals and further establishing our tour operator business as a leader in the industry.
As a Junior Digital Designer, your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
- Creation, conceptualisation and execution of design outputs across various mediums and brands
- Working with various content creation and management systems to maintain and update designs across the business
- Designing and implementing new CIs and guidelines for partners and emerging brands
- Developing & applying different CIs that fall under Rhino Africa's umbrella of brands
- Assisting photographers and videographers to enhance and manipulate their creative outputs
- Working with various content creation and management systems to maintain and update designs across the business
- The creative execution and development of concepts, projects, and campaigns for Rhino Africa and associated brands and properties
- Brainstorming design ideas with Rhino Africa's management team and working in close collaboration with our Marketing and Web Development departments
Requirements
- Based in Cape Town
- Tertiary qualification in Graphic Design
- 1-3 years experience in digital design
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects)
- Methodical, precise, and deadline-driven approach
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experienced in maintaining high productivity whilst working under pressure
- Strong creativity, organisation, problem-solving, and time management skills
Not essential but advantageous:
- Web design skills
- Passion for knowledge of Africa and African travel
