We’re looking for a Head of BI who isn’t afraid to shake things up. Someone who can see patterns others miss; who can build scalable architecture, but also shape insight into the story. Someone who doesn’t just count the numbers, but makes the numbers count.
This is not a backroom Excel gig. This is a seat at the table!
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Build the architecture for our next-generation data strategy including MDM, automation, and forecasting.
- Lead and mentor a skilled BI team (and occasionally our external consultants).
- Turn complexity into clarity for our leadership team, driving better, faster decisions.
- Design dashboards, models, and insights that power our future - not just explain our past.
- Collaborate across departments to embed data in every decision, process, and product.
YOU’RE RIGHT FOR THIS IF:
- You’ve led BI teams at senior level and love mentoring humans as much as coding SQL.
- You can dance between data engineering, storytelling, and strategy.
- You understand that perfect data doesn’t exist, but useful data changes everything.
- You’re curious, courageous, and not afraid to ask the hard questions.
- You believe that culture and clarity matter just as much as cloud architecture.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with real-time reporting or event-driven architecture
- A point of view on AI’s role in forecasting and workflow optimisation
- A healthy obsession with storytelling (and maybe a great Spotify playlist)
Your multifaceted expertise in Team Leadership & Culture; Technical Strategy & Data Architecture; Analysis, Forecasting & Insight and Governance, Ethics & Influence ensures a holistic approach to manage top client experience and drive business success in our tour operating business.

Requirements
- BCom Honours (or equivalent) in Business, Supply Chain, Data Science, or similar
- 8+ years in BI or analytics leadership
- Strong experience in cloud-based data architecture, MDM, forecasting models
- Proven ability to influence Senior Leadership decision making through insight
- Deep understanding of data governance, privacy, and ethical data usage
